Linkage Replacement - Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Door (Water Deflector Replacement - Door) .




3. Remove the lock rod shield (2), as needed.
4. Remove the rods from the inside remote handle/lock button assembly.
5. Remove the rods from the lock assembly (1).
6. Disengage the rods from the anti-rattle clips.
7. Remove the rods.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rods to the lock assembly (1).
2. Install the rods to the inside remote handle/lock button assembly.
3. Install the lock rod shield (2).
4. Ensure the rods are firmly seated into the anti-rattle clips.
5. Install water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Door (Water Deflector Replacement - Door) .
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door (Service and Repair) .
