Backup Light Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the license plate pocket.
2. Grasp the backup lamp bulb connector and depress the locking tabs inward.
3. Turn the bulb connector counterclockwise 45 degrees while pulling outward.
4. Remove the inoperative bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the new backup lamp bulb into the socket.
2. Press inward the bulb and turn the bulb clockwise in order to secure.
3. Install the backup lamp bulb socket into the housing.
4. Turn the socket clockwise in order to engage the locking tabs.
5. Install the license plate pocket.
