Parking Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the upper filler panel.
2. Remove the fastener.
3. Pull outward the front edge of the turn signal lamp housing.
4. Carefully release the tabs at the rear of the cornering lamp housing.
5. Twist the electrical sockets counterclockwise 45 degrees in order to release the lamp sockets from the housing.
6. Remove the turn signal lamp housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the lamp sockets to the turn signal lamp housing.
2. Twist the lamp socket 45 degrees clockwise in order to secure the sockets to the housing.
3. Position the turn signal lamp housing tabs into the slots in the headlamp panel housing assembly.
4. Move the front edge of the turn signal lamp housing toward the headlamp.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the fastener in order to secure the turn signal lamp housing.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

6. Install the filler panel.
