Power Port Replacement - Front Seat

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 42059 Cigar Lighter Socket Remover

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the power port fuse.
2. Remove the power port socket.
3. Remove the power port socket by placing one side of the T portion of the tool J 42059 into the tab window, with the other side angled towards the opposite tab window.
4. Remove the lighter socket by pulling the lighter socket forward.
5. Remove the tool from the lighter socket.




6. Pull the power port socket (3) and power port retainer/cap (2) from the seat storage tray.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the power port (3).
8. Remove the power port retainer (2) from the power port socket (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the power port retainer (1) to the seat storage tray, by pressing the retainer into the opening in the seal storage tray, until fully sealed.
2. Connect the electrical connector (2)10 the power port socket (1).
3. Align the power port key to the key slot in the retainer ring.




4. Press the power port into the seat storage tray until the power port socket is fully seated.
5. Install the power port fuse.
