Automatic Level Control Sensor and Bracket ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the link from the height sensor actuating arm and the suspension control arm.
3. Disconnect the height sensor connector from the vehicle harness connector.
4. Remove the four nuts and the bracket from the height sensor.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the bracket on the height sensor with four nuts.
Tighten the four nuts to 3 Nm (26 inch lbs.).
2. Install the height sensor with the bracket on the vehicle with two bolts.
Tighten the two bolts to 6 Nm (54 inch lbs.).
3. Connect the link to the height sensor actuating arm and the suspension control arm.
4. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
5. Adjust the height sensor.
