Tow Hook Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the bolts (1) from the tow hook.
3. Remove the nut (2) from the tow hook.
4. Remove the tow hook from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the tow hook to the vehicle.

Important: Loosely install all the fasteners before tightening.


2. Install the bolts (1) to the tow hook.

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the nut (2) to the tow hook.

Tighten the bolts and nut to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

4. Lower the vehicle.
