66. Engine Block Assemble - Without KA3 and K05

Engine Block Assembly (without KA3 and K05 - RPO Codes)
1. Install the blow-by plate.







Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the blow-by plate bolts.
Tighten the blow-by plate bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).

3. Install the O-ring onto the coolant jacket support plug.







4. Install the coolant jacket support plug.
Tighten the coolant jacket support plug to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).

5. Apply thread sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) to the threads of the coolant jacket plugs.







6. Install the coolant jacket plugs.
Tighten the coolant jacket plugs to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
