68. Engine Block Assemble - With K05

Engine Block Assembly (with K05 - RPO Codes)

1. Install the blow-by plate.







Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Fastener Notice

2. Install the blow-by plate bolts.
Tighten the blow-by plate bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).







3. Install the O-ring onto the block heater.
4. Install the block heater.
Tighten the block heater to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).

5. Apply thread sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) to the threads of the coolant jacket plugs.







6. Install the coolant jacket plugs.
Tighten the coolant jacket plugs to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).
