Heater Hoses Replacement

HEATER HOSES REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 37097-A Heater Hose Clamp Tool

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System.




2. Using the J 37097-A , remove the clamps from the coolant reservoir hose and the heater core side of the hoses.
3. Using the J 37097-A , remove the heater hose clamps from the engine.
4. Remove the heater hoses from the heater core.




5. Remove the heater hoses (1, 2) from the engine.
6. Remove the heater hoses.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the heater hoses (1, 2) to the engine.




2. Install the heater hoses (1, 2) to the heater core.
3. Install the coolant reservoir hose.




4. Using the J 37097-A , install the heater hose clamps to the engine.
5. Using the J 37097-A , install the clamps to the coolant reservoir hose and the heater core side of the hoses.
6. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
