Brake Pad Warning Sensor Reset Procedure

FRONT DISC BRAKE PAD WEAR SENSOR
When the linings have worn to the point of replacement the sensor makes contact with the rotor causing the plastic sensor housing to wear. Eventually interrupting the circuit loop. This causes the "CHANGE BRAKE PADS" message on the instrument panel to illuminate. Once the message has illuminated the sensor must be replaced with the replacement of the brake linings and is not reusable.
