Automatic Transmission Range Selector Cable Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the cable end cap from the transmission park/neutral position switch lever.
2. Remove the cable from the bracket by prying on the lock button to the unlocked position.
3. Remove the console center trim panel.





4. Remove the shift control cable from the floor shift assembly.





5. Remove the cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the shift control cable to the vehicle.





2. Install the cable end cap to the floor shift assembly.
3. Install the console center trim panel.
4. Install the left closeout insulator panel.





5. install the cable into the retaining bracket. Push down on the locking tab.
6. Install the cable end cap to the transmission position switch lever.
