Front Tow Hook Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the front air deflector. Refer toFront Air Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
3. Remove the tow hook mounting nuts (1).
4. Remove the tow hook mounting bolt (2).
5. Remove the tow hook from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the tow hook to the vehicle.

Important: Loosely install all nuts and bolt before tightening.


2. Install the tow hook mounting bolt (2).

Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the tow hook mounting nuts (1).

1. Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
2. Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).


4. Install the front air deflector. Refer toFront Air Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
5. Lower the vehicle.
