Camshaft Cover Removal - Left

Tools Required
^ J43301 Coil Pack Puller





1. Remove the oil filler cap.





2. Remove the coil cassette bolts.
3. Remove the coil cassette using the J43301.
4. Remove the spark plugs.





5. Remove the camshaft cover bolts (1).
6. Remove the camshaft cover (2).

Important: Ensure that all 8 sealing O-rings (4) are accounted for. O-rings may stick to the camshaft bearing caps or they may fall into the oil return journals of the cylinder head.

7. Remove the camshaft cover seals (3).
