Oil Pump Removal

Tools Required
^ J42065 Crank Hub Holding Tool
^ J42098 Crank Hub Torx Socket





1. Mount the J42065 to prevent movement of the crankshaft.
2. Use the J42098 to remove the crankshaft drive gear bolt.





3. Remove the crankshaft drive gear.
4. Remove the oil pump collar.





5. Remove the oil pressure sensor.





6. Using a suitable tool, insert a self-drilling sheet metal screw into the steel ring of the crankshaft front oil seal.
7. Use pliers to pull out the crankshaft front oil seal.





8. Remove the oil pump bolts.
9. Remove the oil pump and gasket.
