Installation Procedure





1. Loosely install the J28467-501 (1) to the ends of the strut tower tube J28467-3 (2).





2. Place the strut tower tube J28467-3 and the J28467-501 on top of both the left and right fender lips, over the engine rear lift bracket.





3. Install the radiator shelf tube J28467-2A (2) on top of the strut tower tube J28467-3 (1) over the engine front lift bracket.





4. Install the round tube of the front support assembly J28467-4A through the large hole in the radiator shelf tube J28467-2A. The hole used in the radiator shelf tube J28467-2A depends on the vehicle application.
5. Place the rubber padded foot of the front support assembly J28467-4A on the upper tie bar.
6. Install the 7/16 in x 2.0 in quick release pin J28467-9 through the hole in the front support assembly J28467-4A in order to level the radiator shelf tube J28467-2A.





7. Install the cross bracket assembly J28467-1A.
8. Hand tighten the cross bracket assembly J28467-1A wing nuts.





9. Install the lift hook J28467-7A through the lift hook bracket J28467-6A.
10. Install the 1/2 in lift hook washer and lift hook wing nut J28467-34 onto the lift hook J28467-7A.





11. Install the assembled lift hook bracket J28467-6A (1) over the strut tower tube J28467-3 (2).
12. Adjust the assembled lift hook bracket J28467-6A (1) in order to align the hook with the engine rear lift bracket.





13. Install the lift hook J28467-7A through the engine rear lift bracket. Ensure the hook does not damage the surrounding components.
14. Repeat steps 9 and 10.





15. Install the assembled lift hook bracket J28467-6A (1) over the radiator shelf tube J28467-2A (2).
16. Adjust the assembled lift hook bracket J28467-6A (1) in order to align the hook with the engine front lift bracket.





17. Install the lift hook J28467-7A through the engine front lift bracket. Ensure the hook does not damage the surrounding components.





18. Hand tighten the lift hook wing nuts J28467-34 securely to remove all slack from the engine support fixture assembly.

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the J28467-B.
2. Remove the J28467-501.
