Power Steering Cooler Replacement (FE1)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the intake air resonator.
2. Disconnect the power steering cooler hoses.





3. Remove the power steering cooler retaining bolt.
4. Remove the power steering cooler from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the power steering cooler to the vehicle.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the power steering cooler retaining bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).





3. Install the power steering cooler hoses.
4. Install the intake air resonator.
5. Bleed the power steering system.
