Power Steering Cooler Replacement (FE4)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front air deflector.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the power steering hoses from the power steering cooler.





4. Remove the power steering cooler retaining nuts.
5. Remove the power steering cooler.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the power steering cooler.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the power steering cooler retaining nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the power steering hoses to the power steering cooler.
4. Install the front air deflector.
5. Bleed the power steering system.
