ARMREST REPLACEMENT (BASE AND DHS)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Position both front seats to the forward position.
Adjust both front seat recliners to the forward position.




2. Use a flat bladed tool in order to remove both of the fastener access plugs (1) from the center seat armrest.
Rotate the access plug (1) counterclockwise 1/4 turn in order to remove the access plug.




3. Remove the left and right center seat armrest fasteners (1).
4. Remove the center seat armrest.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the armrest to the center seat assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the center seat armrest fasteners (1), both the left and the right.

Tighten
Tighten the armrest fasteners (1) to 2.4 N.m (21 lb in).




3. Install the left and right fastener access plugs (1) and turn the access plugs 1/4 turn clockwise in order to secure the access plug.
4. Read just the front seats.
