Underhood Lamp: Service and Repair

UNDERHOOD LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the hood.




2. Disconnect the underhood lamp connector (3) from the underhood lamp (1).




3. Remove the rivets securing the underhood lamp (1) to the hood (2).

CAUTION: Eye protection must be worn when drilling rivets to reduce the chance of personal injury.

4. Remove the underhood lamp (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the underhood lamp (1) to the hood (2).
2. Install the rivets (3) in order to secure the underhood lamp (1) to the hood (2).




3. Connect the underhood lamp electrical connector (3) to the underhood lamp (1).
4. Close the hood.
