Blower Motor Control Processor Replacement (LHD)

BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL PROCESSOR REPLACEMENT (LHD)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the sound insulator.
2. Remove the instrument panel compartment.
3. Remove the dash integration module (DIM).
4. Remove the 2 rear DIM bracket screws.
5. Reposition the DIM bracket in order to gain access to the blower control module.




6. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (1).




7. Disconnect the blower control module electrical connector.




8. Remove the blower control module screw (1).
9. Remove the blower control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the blower control module.
2. Install the blower control module screw (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).




3. Connect the blower control module electrical connector.




4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (1).




5. Reposition the DIM bracket to its original position.
6. Install the 2 rear DIM bracket screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

7. Install the DIM.
8. Install the instrument panel compartment.
9. Install the right sound insulator.
