Front Position Sensor Replacement-Electronic Suspension

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the wheel from the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the sensor harness connector from the vehicle harness connector.
4. Disconnect the sensor harness clips from the vehicle at 2 places.





5. Disconnect the sensor link (1) from the ball stud.





6. Remove the retainer and remove the; position sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the position sensor on the vehicle with the retainers.
^ Tighten the retainers to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





2. Connect the sensor link (1) to the ball stud.





3. Connect the sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector.
4. Connect the sensor harness clips to the vehicle at two places.
5. Install the wheel onto the vehicle.
6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
7. If equipped with the F55 suspension, use the scan tool in order to perform the Bump Stop Trim Set procedure.
