135. Air Conditioning Compressor Installation

Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor Installation





1. Place the air conditioning compressor bracket to the block.
2. Install the air conditioning compressor bracket bolts finger tight.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the air conditioning compressor bracket bolts in sequence shown.
^ Tighten the air conditioning compressor bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





4. Place the air conditioning compressor to the air conditioning compressor bracket.
5. Install the air conditioning compressor bolts finger tight.





6. Tighten the air conditioning compressor bolts in sequence shown.
^ Tighten the air conditioning compressor bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
