Fuel Pump Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left wheelhouse liner panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement Service and Repair.






2. Disconnect the fuel pump module electrical connector.






3. Remove the nut (2) securing the fuel pump module (3) to the vehicle.
4. Remove the fuel pump module.

Installation Procedure






1. Insert the alignment tabs (4) of the fuel pump module (3) into the slots (5) in the body panel.
2. Position the fuel pump module (3) over the body attachment stud (1).
3. Install the nut (2) to the attachment stud (1).

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 12 Nm (106 lb in).






4. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel pump module.
5. Install the wheelhouse liner panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement Service and Repair.
