Seat Back Replacement - Rear (With RPO Code WC2, WC8)
SEAT BACK REPLACEMENT - REAR (WITH RPO CODE WC2, WC8)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.
2. Remove the anchor bolts that secure the center seat belt and the outer shoulder belt buckle to the back seat.
3. Place the center shoulder belt on the rear shelf panel.
4. Remove the seat back from the retaining clips (1) by sliding the rear seat back up.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the heated seat and for the rear lumbar, if equipped.
6. Position the rear shoulder belts away from the rear seat back.
7. Remove the rear seat back.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connectors for the heated seat and for the rear lumbar, if equipped.
2. Position the rear shoulder belts over the seat back.
3. Position the center shoulder belt over the seat back.
4. Slide the rear seat back down to engage the retaining clips (1).
5. Install the anchor bolts that secure the center seat belt and the outer shoulder belt buckle to the back seat.
IMPORTANT:
- Ensure that the bolt threads and bolt holes are free of any sealer patch material.
- Ensure that the seat belt buckles are properly positioned.
- Ensure that the wire hold-downs on the seat back frame are properly positioned between the dimples on the floor pan.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the bolts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
6. Install the rear seat cushion.
