Heated Seat Switch Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure





1. Insert a flat bladed tool under the rear edge of the door switch plate.





Notice: The retainer clip must be fully disengaged before the switch plate is removed. Otherwise, damage to the switch plate could result.

2. Push the tool firmly towards the switch plate in order to disengage the retention clip.




3. Lift up on the rear of the switch plate and remove the switch plate from the door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the switch plate from the vehicle.




6. Turn the switch plate (2) over.
7. Using a small, flat bladed tool, release the tabs that retain the heated seat switch (1) to the switch plate (2) and remove the heated seat switch (1) from the switch plate (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Align the heated seat switch (1) to the switch plate (2).
2. Push the switch (1) towards the switch plate (2) in order to engage the switch plate retainers.




3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Align the switch plate to the door trim panel opening.
5. Press down on the switch plate evenly in order to engage the retainers.
