140. Thermostat Housing Installation

Thermostat Housing Installation





1. Install the NEW thermostat housing O-ring.





2. Install the thermostat housing.

3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the thermostat housing bolts.
^ Tighten the thermostat housing bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





4. Install the NEW thermostat housing assembly O-ring and gasket.





5. Install the thermostat housing assembly.
6. Install the thermostat housing assembly bolts.
^ Tighten the thermostat housing assembly bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





7. Install the NEW heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly O-ring and gasket.





8. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly.
9. Install the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolts.
^ Tighten the heater inlet/outlet pipe assembly bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
