Cylinder Head Replacement - Right
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the following subassemblies:
^ The right exhaust manifold.
^ The water crossover.
^ The intake manifold.
^ The right secondary camshaft drive chain.
^ The right camshaft.





2. Remove the right cylinder head. Make sure that no dowel guide pins are stuck in the cylinder head.
3. Disassemble the right cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Disassemble .
4. Clean and inspect the cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Cleaning and Inspection .
5. Assemble the right cylinder head. Refer to Cylinder Head Assemble .

Installation Procedure





1. Install the right cylinder head.
2. Install the following subassemblies:
^ The right camshaft.
^ The right secondary camshaft drive chain.
^ The intake manifold.
^ The water crossover.
^ The right exhaust manifold.
