Rear Suspension Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the bracket to rocker panel bolts (1).

3. Important: If removing the old bracket (and not replacing with a new one), do not remove the bolt (4). If lowering the cradle or performing fuel filter replacement, only remove the bolts (1) from the rocker panel.

Remove the brace to suspension support bolt (2).
4. Remove the bracket from the vehicle.
5. Remove the bolt (4) from the brace (3).
6. Remove the brace (3) from the bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Position the brace (3) to the bracket, if removed.
2. Install the bolt (4) to the bracket, if removed.
Tighten the bolt to 160 Nm (118 ft. lbs.).
3. Position the bracket to the vehicle.
4. Install the bracket to rocker panel bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the brace to suspension support bolt (2).
Tighten the bolt to 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
