B3160
DTC B3160
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The individual power window switches are monitored and controlled by the front and rear door modules. Each passenger door window switch is mounted to the trim panel of the appropriate passenger door. When a passenger window switch is operated, the switch contacts close and the associated door control module detects ground as a specific request to move the window up or down. If conditions are correct for window operation to occur, the door control module communicates the up/down command to the power window motor and the power window motor moves the window to the desired position. For more detailed information concerning power window operation refer to Power Windows Description and Operation.
