Door Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Mark the harness grommet at the edge of the hinge pillar opening, to aid in determining the depth of the grommet on reassembly.




2. Disconnect the harness grommet from the hinge pillar.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




4. Mark the location of the hinges on the pillar.
5. Support the door.
6. Remove the bolts attaching the hinges to the hinge pillar.
7. Remove the door.
8. Transfer the parts as necessary.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the door to the opening, aligning the hinges to the marks.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

2. Install the bolts attaching the hinges to the hinge pillar.

Tighten the door hinge to hinge pillar bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).




3. Connect the harness electrical connectors.




4. Install the harness grommet into the hinge pillar, aligning the depth mark with the edge of the hinge pillar opening.
5. Adjust the door as necessary by loosening the hinge bolts, and repositioning the hinge and/or the door.
6. Adjust the door window as necessary.
