Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Panel
Removal Procedure
1. Power operate the folding top system to the fully down and stored position.
2. Position the driver and passenger seat in the full forward position.
3. Remove the roof bar tube assemblies.
4. Remove the stowage trim from the rear compartment panel.
5. Remove the lock pillar trim.
6. Remove the rear retaining nuts from the console.
7. Remove the retaining screws from the rear window panel.
8. Pull on the seat belt trim escutcheon to remove from the rear window trim panel. Leave the escutcheon on the seat belt.
9. Remove the rear window panel trim. Lift upwards to slide the trim out from behind the end of the console. Route the seat belts from both ends.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear window panel trim behind the end of the console. Route both seat belts through the trim panel.
2. Install the escutcheon to the panel trim.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the retaining screws to the panel trim.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
4. Install the rear console retaining nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
5. Install the lock pillar trim.
6. Install the stowage trim to the rear compartment panel.
7. Install the roof bar tube assemblies.
8. Position the driver and passenger seat in the customer set position.
9. Power operate the folding top system to the fully up and latched position.
