High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid applique.
3. Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector from the wiring harness.
4. Remove the fasteners securing the high mounted stop lamp to the rear compartment lid applique.
5. Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the rear compartment lid applique and place it face down on a clean protective surface.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the high mount stop lamp to the rear compartment lid applique.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the high mounted stop lamp to the rear compartment lid applique.

Tighten the high mounted stop lamp fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Connect the high mount stop lamp electrical connector.
4. Install the rear compartment lid applique to the rear compartment lid.
5. Close the rear compartment.
