Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .





3.Remove the bolts that secure the impact bar (1) to the front energy absorbers.

4.Remove the front impact bar (1) from the energy absorbers.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the front impact bar (1) to the front energy absorbers.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

2.Install the bolts in order to secure the impact bar to the energy absorbers.

2.1Install the inboard bolts on the right side first.

2.2Install the inboard bolt on the left side second.

2.3Install the remaining outboard bolt third.

TightenTighten the bolts to 25 N �m (18 lb ft) in sequence, as illustrated.

3.Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

4.Lower the vehicle.
