Power Steering Reservoir Inlet Pipe/Hose Replacement (LS2)
Removal Procedure
1. Compress the clamp (1) and disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering pump reservoir.
2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the push-in retainers and the front air deflector.
4. Compress the clamp (1)and disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering cooler.
5. Open the power steering line routing clip (1) and remove the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the vehicle and install it to the routing clip (1).
2. Compress the clamp (1) and install the power steering reservoir inlet hose (2) to the power steering cooler.
3. Position the front air deflector to the vehicle and install the 2 push-in retainers to secure the air deflector to the engine cradle.
4. Install the push-in retainers to secure the front of the air deflector to the fascia.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Compress the clamp (1) and install the power steering reservoir inlet hose (2) to the power steering reservoir.
7. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
