Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the steering column.
2. Remove the intermediate steering shaft boot.




3. Remove the intermediate steering shaft nut (2) and bolt (1) from the column.
4. Remove the intermediate steering shaft (3) from the column.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the intermediate steering shaft (3) to the steering column.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the intermediate steering shaft bolt (1) and nut (2) to the steering column.

Tighten the nut to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

3. Install the intermediate steering shaft boot.
4. Install the steering column.
