Removal and Replacement



Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the rear wheel and tire.
3. Support the rear suspension at the proper D trim height. Refer to Trim Height Specifications.




4. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor arm from the trailing arm.




5. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.




6. Remove the air spring leveling sensor nut and remove the sensor.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Position the air spring leveling sensor and install the nut.

Tighten the air spring leveling sensor nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




2. Connect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.




3. Connect the air spring leveling sensor to the trailing arm.
4. Remove the rear suspension support.
5. Install the rear wheel and tire.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Perform the suspension position calibration procedure.
