Fan Adapter Replacement (LH2)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the cooling fan.




2. Hold the cooling fan adapter from turning by placing a wrench on the adapter flat spots.
3. Remove the cooling fan adapter bolts.
4. Remove the cooling fan adapter from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cooling fan adapter to the vehicle.
2. Hold the cooling fan adapter from turning by placing a wrench on the adapter flat spots.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the cooling fan adapter bolts.

Tighten the cooling fan adapter bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).




4. Install the cooling fan.
