Charge Air Cooler Hose Replacement - Outlet

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the charge air cooling system.




2. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.




3. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the pump.
4. Lower the vehicle.




5. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the fill neck.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the radiator outlet hose.




2. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and connect the radiator outlet hose onto the fill neck.
3. Raise the vehicle.




4. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and connect the radiator outlet hose onto the pump.




5. Using the J 38185, disengage clamp tension and connect the radiator outlet hose onto the radiator.
6. Fill the charge air cooling system.
