Fuel Door Switch: Service and Repair

FUEL FILLER DOOR RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Using a small flat bladed tool, release the switch retaining tabs from the knee bolster trim panel.
2. Remove the switch from the knee bolster routing wire harness through the hole in the trim panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel filler door release switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.
2. Position the fuel filler door release switch to the knee bolster trim panel.
3. Push the switch to secure the switch retaining tabs into the trim panel.
