Compressor Clutch Plate/Hub Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement (Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement) .




2. Remove the clutch plate retaining bolt (1).
3. Remove the clutch plate assembly (2).
4. Remove the clutch hub/bearing snap ring (3).
5. Remove the clutch hub/bearing assembly (4).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the clutch hub/bearing assembly (4).
2. Install the clutch hub/bearing snap ring (3).
3. Install the clutch plate assembly (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the clutch plate retaining bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

5. Install the engine belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement (Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement) .
