Rear Body Mount Replacement (FE1 and FE3)
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the rear support assembly.
4. Remove the 2 rear support assembly bolts.
5. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Lower the rear of the support assembly.
7. Remove the 2 bolts at the body mount.
8. Remove the rear body mount.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear body mount.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .
2. Install the bolts securing the body mount.
Tighten the bolts to 77 N.m (57 lb ft).
3. Raise the support assembly and the exhaust.
4. Install the 2 rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.
Tighten the bolts to 191 N.m (141 lb ft).
5. Install the 4 exhaust hangers.
6. Install the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
Tighten the wheel nuts to 125 N.m (80 lb ft).
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Inspect and adjust the rear toe. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment (FE7) (Service and Repair)Rear Toe Adjustment (FE1, FE3) (Service and Repair) .
