Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the rear wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
3. Support the rear suspension at the proper D trim height. Refer to Trim Height Specifications (Trim Height Specifications) .
4. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor arm from the trailing arm.
5. Disconnect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.
6. Remove the air spring leveling sensor nut and remove the sensor.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .
1. Position the air spring leveling sensor and install the nut.
Tighten the air spring leveling sensor nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
2. Connect the air spring leveling sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the air spring leveling sensor to the trailing arm.
4. Remove the rear suspension support.
5. Install the rear wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair) .
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Perform the suspension position calibration procedure. Refer to Suspension Position Calibration (Programming and Relearning) .
