Exhaust Tail Pipe Flow Valve Vacuum Pipe Replacement - Reservoir Tank to Valve Solenoid

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the vacuum line fitting (1) from the flow control valve vacuum tank.




3. Disconnect the vacuum line fitting (1) from the flow control valve solenoid.




4. Disconnect the vacuum line fitting (1) from the rear chassis vacuum line. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .
5. Remove the vacuum line from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure


Important: Do NOT remove the thermal wrap insulation from the vacuum hose.






1. Install the vacuum line to the vehicle.
2. Connect the vacuum line quick connect fitting (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service) .




3. Connect the vacuum line fitting (1) to the flow control valve solenoid.




4. Connect the vacuum line fitting (1) to the flow control valve vacuum tank.
5. Lower the vehicle.
