Subject: Hard Brake Pedal On Cold Start At High Altitudes (Install Auxiliary Vacuum Pump)

Supercede:
This bulletin is being revised to update the terminal part number used from the SPX Kent-Moore Yazaki Connector Kit and to remove the references to the UBEC F25 fuse. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-05-22-003B (Section 05 - Brakes).

Condition

Some customers may comment on a hard brake pedal. This condition is most apparent in the first 30 seconds to one minute after a cold start and at high altitudes, usually between 1,219-1,829 m (4,000-6,000 ft).

Cause

This condition may be caused by low engine vacuum during warm up.
