- Low Tire Pressure System Performance
Circuit Description
The EBCM receives a serial data message from the tire pressure monitor (TPM) system when low tire pressure is detected. The EBCM will adjust the responses of vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) to have optimal vehicle control when active.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The EBCM received a serial data message that low tire pressure is detected.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
VSES is active.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
A DIC message and/or a warning message may be displayed.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
* A current DTC will go to history after the VSES event is over.
* A history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive malfunction-free ignition cycles.
Diagnostic Aids
* This DTC is only current for the duration of the VSES event, and then it will go to history.
* This DTC is not an indication of an ABS/VSES malfunction.
