Electronic Navigation Antenna Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove 2 plastic rivet retainers which secure the global positioning system (GPS) antenna to the I/P carrier.
3. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (Radio Replacement).
4. Remove the GPS antenna from the retaining clip at the rear of the radio.
5. Remove the GPS antenna loop lead from the HVAC duct work.
6. Route the GPS antenna with the coaxial antenna lead from the I/P carrier.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the GPS antenna and the coaxial lead to the I/P carrier and route the coaxial lead to the radio.
2. Install the GPS antenna loop lead to the HVAC duct work.
3. Install the GPS antenna to the retaining clip at the rear of the radio.
4. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (Radio Replacement).
5. Install 2 plastic rivets to secure the GPS antenna to the I/P carrier.
6. Install the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement (Service and Repair).
