Radio Antenna Module Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the antenna ground plate. Refer to Antenna Ground Plate Replacement (Antenna Ground Plate Replacement).
3. Disconnect the coaxial lead and the electrical lead to the antenna module.
4. Remove the screw that retains the antenna module to the antenna ground plate.




5. Remove the antenna module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the antenna module into position on the antenna ground plate.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the antenna module retaining screws and tighten to 1.8 Nm (16 lb in).
3. Connect the coaxial cable and the electrical lead to the antenna module.
4. Install the antenna ground plate. Refer to Antenna Ground Plate Replacement (Antenna Ground Plate Replacement).




5. Close the rear compartment lid.
