Door Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the push-pin retainers from the ends (2) of the weatherstrip.




2. Remove the weatherstrip (1) and retainers from the door.
3. Remove any weatherstrip retainers that remain in the door. The new weatherstrip comes with retainers.

Installation Procedure




1. Starting at one end of the weatherstrip (1) align the retainers on the weatherstrip with the holes in the door.




2. Press the retainers firmly into the holes in the door. Align the ends of the weatherstrip to the molded ends (2).
3. Insert and press the push-pin retainers through the weatherstrip molded ends into the door.
