Rear Body Mount Replacement (FE7)

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support assembly.




4. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (Service and Repair).




5. Remove the center support brackets (1).
6. Remove the two rear support assembly bolts.
7. Lower the rear of the support assembly.




8. Remove the two bolts at the body mount.
9. Remove the rear body mount.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear body mount.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts securing the body mount.

Tighten the bolts to 77 Nm (57 lb ft).




3. Raise the support assembly.
4. Install the two rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.

Tighten the bolts to 207 Nm (153 lb ft).




5. Install the center support bracket bolts (1).

Tighten the center support bracket bolts to 128 Nm (94 lb ft).




6. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the tires and the wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).

Tighten the wheel nuts to 125 Nm (80 lb ft).

8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Inspect and adjust the rear toe. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment (FE1, FE3) (Rear Toe Adjustment (FE1, FE3))Rear Toe Adjustment (FE7) (Rear Toe Adjustment (FE7)).
