Exhaust Manifold Installation - Right Side




1. Install the engine mount bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts and tighten

* The M10 engine mount bracket bolts (1) to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).
* The M8 engine mount bracket bolt (2) to 38 Nm (28 lb ft).




3. Install the engine mount.
4. Install the engine mount nut and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).




5. Install the exhaust manifold lower heat shield (2).
6. Install the exhaust manifold lower heat shield bolts (1) and tighten to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).




7. Position a NEW exhaust manifold gasket onto the right exhaust manifold.
8. Install the exhaust manifold bolts into the right exhaust manifold.
9. Place the right exhaust manifold, exhaust manifold gasket and bolts as an assembly in position on the right cylinder head.
10. Install the exhaust manifold bolts into the right cylinder head and tighten the exhaust manifold bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




11. Place the right exhaust manifold heat shield in position.
12. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
